As events in 2024 and life are now back into full swing, I am seeing a lot of cancellations and ‘no shows’ without contact even upon the second booking. This has had an effect on business as I go for days without a job (if two people cancel or no show in the same week) and often turn away business to fulfill the obligated appointment. I provide a very competitive shop rates (not raised since 2022) and it would be shame to have to increase the rates to provide the same service.
I am reluctant to do this, but this year has been a few too many no shows.
CANCELLATION WITHIN 24 HOURS
For any reason, cancellation within 24 hours will incur a 25$ fee.
NO SHOW (no contact and do not turn up on designated time)
For any reason, NO SHOW will incur a 40$ fee. (more than 30 minutes late with no prior contact is considered a NO SHOW)
I will still send a reminder on the morning of the appointment, but I would encourage you to place a reminder in your own calendar 25 hours prior. Thank you for your understanding and business.
